1. Definitions
"Service" means the Pagelift software-as-a-service platform published at pagelift.space, including its website, application, APIs, and documentation. "Customer" or "you" means the individual or entity that has accepted these terms. "We", "us", or "Pagelift" means Pagelift.
2. Service description
Pagelift analyses landing-page screenshots and produces a Lift Report containing scores, priority fixes, and rewritten copy suggestions. The service is provided on a subscription basis, in the plans described on our Pricing page.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
4. Plans, billing, and taxes
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, in euros, by our payment processor. Prices are shown on the Pricing page. VAT is added where applicable to customers in the European Union. Invoices are issued electronically and made available in your account.
5. Free trial and refunds
We offer a free tier of three audits without a card. Paid subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by mandatory consumer law. Business customers waive the fourteen-day right of withdrawal by starting to use the service immediately after subscribing.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to upload content you do not have the right to analyse, to violate any law, to attempt to access other customers' data, to reverse-engineer or resell the service, to run automated scraping beyond documented API limits, or to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.
7. AI-generated output — accuracy disclaimer
Lift Reports, scores, priority fixes, and rewritten copy are produced by automated systems and are provided as suggestions only. They do not guarantee any specific increase in conversion, revenue, ranking, or business outcome. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before publishing them. The service is not a substitute for professional marketing, legal, medical, or financial advice.
8. Customer data and confidentiality
You retain ownership of the screenshots you upload and the reports produced from them. We process this data only to provide the service to you, in accordance with our Privacy policy. We do not use your uploaded screenshots to train models, and we treat your account content as confidential.
9. Our intellectual property
The Pagelift software, brand, wordmark, visual identity, and documentation remain our exclusive property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business purposes during your subscription.
10. Third-party services
The service relies on third-party providers for hosting, email delivery, payments, and error monitoring. Their availability and terms may affect the service. We select providers carefully but are not responsible for their independent actions.
11. Availability and support
We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance is announced when possible. Support is offered by email from Monday to Friday, with a target first response within two business days.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify us against claims by third parties arising from your unlawful use of the service or from content you upload without the right to do so.
14. Suspension and termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or applicable law, and refund any pre-paid amount for services not yet rendered, except in cases of proven abuse.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or the law. Material changes will be notified at least thirty days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.
These pages are templates for a pre-launch product. They are not legal advice. We will have them reviewed by counsel before charging customers.
